About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

We're holding an Australian Passport , thinking to go to Guangzhou for 4 days,

departing from Hong Kong. We have booked 3 nights hotel in Guangzhou, we're going to take a MTR to Lo Wu and then buy a train ticket from Lo Wu to Guangzhou. Therefore I won't be able to provide a transport tickets to and from China to the Visa office when I submit my application form. All I have is the 3 nights hotel booking confirmation, return air tickets to from Australia to Hong Kong and from Hong Kong to Australia.
It would be much appreciated if you could please confirm if these documents are good enough for me to apply for a Chinese visa.

Alice, you need to apply for a visa in advance for that.

Usually return tickets are required to be purchased in advance, however you can to provide a written explanation on why you don't have your tickets when applying for your visas.
