About:China Tourist Visa

We are embarking on a cruise in April in Singapore and visiting Vietnam,

Hong Kong, Japan and disembarking in Shanghai where we will stay for 2 nights before catching our flight back to the UK, will we be covered for the 72 hour free visa?
