About:Visa Policy of China

Hi, I am travelling to Macau and need to go to Guangzhou for 48 hours and return back to Macau

can I get a transit visa. British passport holder

Sangita, you need to apply for a tourist L type in advance because it is not a transit.

So I live in the UAE but an expat travelling from the UAE. The website says for the visa I need to attach an itinerary. The problem is that i am not doing a tour but I donhsve the hotel confirmation stamped wiukdvthst be enough. What does the itinerary need to look like

The itinerary should include the formation of your flight and accommodation arrangement.
Or you can fly like Macau-Guangzhou-HK-Macau, and then you can enjoy the 72 hour free transit in Guangzhou. No visa will be needed then.
