About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Shanghai short stay and round trip cruise

We will be arriving in Shanghai on 20/03/2017 for two nights, joining a cruise ship for seven nights, then flying home from Shanghai to UK on 29/03/2017. We are UK citizens. Do we need a visa?

You may not need a visa for that if you will take the cruise ship to a third country or region rather than the last one you come from.
When you enter Shanghai again, you can enjoy the free transit again.
