Hold Indian passport but have Aus PR visa -- eligible for 144 hr free transit??

I hold Indian passport but do have Australian Permanent Resident permit, am I eligible to avail 144 free transit stay in Shanghai for a onward trip (Aus --> CHN (transit) --> India)?
