About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Australian traveling to China that lives in America

Hi there,
Do you have any information on Australians applying for a Chinese tourist L type from America?
I live in the States & will be traveling to China soon & the only info I am able to find says that I need to visit the consulate in Australia or send off my passport to get a visa. Sadly none of these options are viable.
Do you know of a way to apply from America, if I'm Australian & on an Australian passport?
Any help or direction would be great.
Thank you,
Julia.

Thank you. Sadly they don't give multi entry visas (max 2 times in 6 months) to Australians when applying in the US. Do you know if I can apply for the 1 year multi entry from Hong Kong?

I’m afraid it is risky. Usually, it is not easy to get multiple entries when you apply in a third country or region.
