About:Chinese Embassy in Ecuador

USA and Ecuadorian Dual-Citizen with Valid Holding Passports

I am currently living in the USA with an American and Ecuadorian passport (both up to date). I am interested in traveling to China for 7 days. By my understanding, Ecuador and China recently signed a bilateral agreement in which Ecuadorian citizens can travel to China visa free for 30 days. Do I have to travel directly from Ecuador to enter China visa-free, or can I travel directly from the USA and present my Ecuadorian passport in China? Would I be able to travel back to the USA with my American passport? Thank you.

Estelle, you should use the Ecuadorian passport to enter and exit China.
