About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

My route is Brisbane - Taipei (for 1 day) - Shanghai - Taipei (for 11 days) - Brisbane.

Will stay in Shanghai for 6 days
Do I qualify for the 144 hours visa?

you're entering from Taipei and you will fly back to Taipei! Then you can't use the 144 hours free transit rule because you enter from the same country that you'll be flying to next! Try to fly to SH via HKG or Macau and then go back to Taipei.
