About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Do I qualify for the 144 hours visa?

I will land in Shanghai on the 20/4 leave for Taipei on the 26/4 and back to Brisbane on the 06/5

If your travel route is Australia-Shanghai-Taipei-Brisbane, you will qualify for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai.

My route is Brisbane - Taipei - Shanghai - Taipei - Brisbane. Will stay in Shanghai for 6 days

If so, you cannot use the free transit.
