Thanks for reply. So we definitely need to buy Chinese visa then?

Celebrity saying we don't need one if we go on organised tour, don't know what information is correct now. We depart in less then six weeks so am getting concerned now.

If you will join a tourist group received by a Chinese travel agency at Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal or Wusong Passenger Transport Center, you can enjoy the 15-day free entry facility, and then no visa will be needed. As for the detailed information, you are advised to contact Shanghai General Station of Immigration Inspection at 086-021-31366000 or Pujiang Immigration Inspection at 086-021-31366700.
