About:Marco Polo Memorial Museum

I'm a Filipino my gf is a Chinese national

I applied tourist Visa, but my fiancée wants us to get married in China.. Can I extend my visa as temporary residence since I will be having a married certificate?

Sam, you can extend your tourist L type, however, you cannot get temporary residence with it. After you get married, you can change your tourist L type to Q type. After you get the Q type, you can apply for a temporary residence permit with it.

When can I apply for Q type? In China or need to go back to Philippines?

You can apply for it after you get married. First, try to apply for it in a local Exit and Entry Administration in China. If you cannot do that, go back to your country to do the application.

Do you think 20days is enough for L type visa...actually I still have work here in Ph.. But planning to resign if I got my visa from Chinese embassy this month..
