About:Chinese Permanent Residence Permit

Do i have to stay in china for more than 5 years?

My wife is from China and living in the Uk with me right now, we are planning to move back to China and do I have to live in China for 5 years to apply for residence remit? thanks

Currently, you can apply for a Q1 type and then you can get the temporary residence permit.
If you want to apply for permanent residence permit, you need to live in China for 5 years in a row and your annual stay in China is not less than 9 months.
