About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Bangkok- Kunming- Shanghai- Prague

HI!
Please, I am really in such a trouble- I book a last minute ticket to Thailand, and by route back is as I mentioned= Bangkok- Kunming (15hour stop)- Shanghai (4hour stop)- Prague.
As my ticket is for 20th February, there is no way I should apply for regular visa for China in Czech republic.
So the question is- what is ma options? Please, I am really lost, I thought that I would be able to apply fot those 72 hours free transit, but as I read on this page I guess I am not able to do that. Am I right?
I would give half of the kingdom for any help!
Thanks a lot!

And maybe it shoud be important.... During our travel back home, we should be in China (drom first landing until last departure) 24 hour and 30 minutes... So we can´t have those 24 hour direct transit.
I am really desparate :(
Is there any option for us? Different than cancel the trip or buying new ticket? :(
