About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travelling out to Shanghai on Standby

I am departing London Heathrow on a Staff Travel listing but will then have a confirmed onward ticket to Hong Kong. Will this qualify for a visa-free transit?

Alison, if so, I’m afraid you won’t be given the free transit in Shanghai. In principle, you need to provide confirmed tickets all the way.
