About:Beijing Capital Airport Express Train

Hi, our flight will be arriving at Beijing Capital Airport on Saturday morning 4.40am.

Our hotel is at Howard Johnson. And we would like to be at Muxiyuan Fabric Market before it opens at 8am. If we take the Express train to Dongzhimen, transfer by subway to BJ Station to drop off our bags at the hotel, will there be enough time to take a cab to reach Muxiyuan Market before 8am? My biggest concern is the traffic situation as the driving time estimated by few websites indicate 30 mins of traveling time by cab from our hotel to the market. Appreciate your views. Thanks!

Do you refer to Howard Johnson Paragon Hotel? If yes, the first schedule of AE from PEK is at 06:20. It takes around half an hour to arrive at Dongzhimen Station. Then transfer to metro line 2 to Main Railway Station, Exit B. Walk northeast around 400 yards to find the hotel. The duration is around 20 mins. And you will meet morning rush hours. Thus I'm afraid that you cannot get to the market before 08:00.

Thank you very much for your reply. How about the Airport Shuttle Line 2, will there be enough time if I take that to the hotel and then only take a cab to the market?

If not, how much will the cab fare be from the airport to the Market? And can I request to the driver to stop by the hotel first?

April, the earliest shuttle bus departs at 7:00. I'm afraid you need to take a taxi if you want to get to the market before 8:00.
It will cost CNY120 taking a taxi from the airport to the market. Most drivers can make a short stop in the midway. You can try to discuss it with the driver.
