About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

Nz passport holder in Beijing.

My work z type is about to run out and I want to come back on a tourist visa only for a couple of months. I don't want to travel all the way back to New Zealand for a week or two while it is processed either. Is it possible to get this done in Hong Kong. And how long would it take?

Jordan, you can try to convert the work Z type to a tourist L type within China, but if it cannot be done in China, you can try to apply for a tourist L type in HK.
