About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Would like to visit family in Wuxi within the 72 hours limit. Do I need a Chinese visa?

NZ passport holder flying from NZ to Shanghai, as stopover on way to London UK.

Hi Flora, it's required that passengers should stay in the transit city under the 72-hour free transit rules. If you want to visit Wuxi, you need to apply for an L type prior to your departure.
