About:Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen Ferry

I will land at Hong Kong International Airport with Cathay Pacific.

I want to take ferry boat from HKIA to Shekou, Shenzhen. What are the procedures to follow if iwant to go through immigration and have luggages followed me?
Should i notice the airline i have the intention to take the ferry, so they will keep my luggage separated?

But to catch the ferry upon landing at HKIA, it is no need to go through immigration. Just walk to Arrival Level, T1 and buy the ferry ticket at the Ferry Ticket Window. There you also need to show your luggage tag receipt, then the airport staff will help to handle your luggage. After getting to Skypier by APM, just check your luggage first and board the ferry. So there is no need to inform ur airline.
