About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

I'm buying a ticket for a 3 month tourist stay in China.

I would like to by my ticket today. I found a ticket leaving March 1 with a return dat of May 31. The length of time is 92 days. I am not employed as my job just expired with the new presidential administration. I am applying for schools in the fall (hence the long trip for now). Will I have issues staying for this long in China on a tourist visa? I don't want to buy my ticket then later get denied.

Maria, you can try to apply for a tourist L type now, and the duration of stay may be 30 days, 60 days or 90 days. Just give it a try. Even though you cannot get 90 days, you can apply for an extension after entering China.
