About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am an Australia citizen and flying to Shanghai for two nights

before cruising out of Shanghai 60 hours later. Do I require a transit visa and if so can I apply for it in Australia. Thank you.

Lou, if you travel like country A-Shanghai-country B, you will be able to use the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. No transit G type will be needed then.
