About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Can I use 72 hour visa if flying to Shanghai then Hong Kong?

I plan on flying from the US to Shanghai, stay less than 72 hours, then fly to Hong Kong, and then back to the US. Do I qualify for the 72 hour free transit?
