Filipino student in Korea travelling to China

Hi. I am a Filipino who holds student visa here in Korea. I am planning to visit China for 7 days with my Chinese friend. What are the things i need to prepare? And can i just apply directly to the visa center with my friend? I personally think booking through a travel agency is a hassle. please let me know. thanks

David, you can apply by yourself at the CVASC office. You may need to prepare the following documents, including your passport, passport copy, filled-out application form attached with recently-taken photo, round-trip tickets and hotel bookings, the original and photocopy of your ARC card, and a financial status proof.
