About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I qualify for a 72hr free visit?

I'm a Canadian citizen travelling from Seoul to Beijing on May 24 and departing for Hong Kong on May 26. Do I qualify for the free visit? If so, do I need to do anything before traveling to Beijing?

To confirm, Hong Kong does not require a visa?

Yes, you qualify for the free transit. You don't need to do anything before travelling to Beijing except informing the air attendant of your intention to use this free transit policy.

HK does not require the entry permit for Canadian citizens for a visit less than 90 days.
