About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Please confirm the 144 hour Transit Visa is available for Guangzhou airport (CAN).

There is conflicting/confusing information about this - information on almost every site indicates that only a 72 hour Transit Visa is available at Guangzhou airport.

I saw the notice about 144h free transit on the website of Guangdong Exit and Entry Administration, so it should be correct that Guangdong has already adopted this policy.
