About:China Transit Visa

Canadian citizen travelling from South Korea.

Hi, I am a Canadian citizen traveling from South Korea to Nepal. I have a 17 hour overnight layover in Chengdu. Do I qualify for a temporary stay permit? Will that allow me to check into a hotel?

Michael, you qualify for the 72hrs free transit policy in Chengdu. Under this condition, you are allowed to leave the airport and check into a hotel.
