Thai boyfriend wants to come to china.

I'm an American who lives in china. My boyfriend is a Thai citizen who lives in Thailand. I want him to move to china with me. It seem the only option for his visa is a 30 day tourist visa. Is it possible for him to get more than 30 days with multiple entires?
