Rosa, you need to transfer twice using public transport and it takes around 5h. Not a good choice.It is suggested you charter a car from Mutianyu to Simatai and the cost for one way is around CNY400. The water town is right at the foot of the Wall. You will arrive at the town the moment you get down from the Wall.
