which card should i purchase?

My husband and I will be in Hongkong for 8 days. We will be using the Airport Express to Kowloon Station and return as well as buses, ferries and MTR over the 8 days. Which is the best card to purchase that will allow us to use public transport for the 8 days. Can we purchase a group card for the whole two weeks or do we need to purchase individual octopus cards?

According to your situation, you are advised to purchase the Round Trip Airport Travel Pass. It contains two Airport Express single journey(s) plus 3 consecutive days of unlimited travel on MTR (except East Rail Line First Class, Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau stations), Light Rail and MTR Bus (Northwest New Territories). The price is HK$350 (with HK$50 refundable deposit). After purchasing it, you can recharge some money on the pass. Then it can be used as the Standard Octopus Card. Notably, one Octopus Card/Travel Pass can only be used by one person. Thus you cannot share one.
