Taji, you are suggested to take subway line 3 from South Train Station to the Main Railway Station, use Exit 9 to reach Tongsha Passenger Station; there you can take a coach to Jixian in around 1h first. Upon arrival, charter a car to the Wall.You can reverse the trip back to Tianjin, but you should notice that the last coach going back to Tianjin leaves at around 18:00. Make sure you not miss it.

How often to the buses leave to jixian? every 10-30minutues? When is the first bus?

The bus schedules are from 06:30 to 18:00 with a frequency of around half an hour.
