Cruise to Yangshuo

If I took the cruise between Guilin and Yangshuo, would I see the same sites on the cruise as I would on the Li River cruise or are the routes different?

Also, I could take the cruise one way and the bus the other, correct? I don't have to buy a round trip ticket for the cruise or bus, right?
