About:Guilin Travel

Guilin to Guangzhou or Yangshuo to Guangzhou

Planning to go to Guilin and Yangshuo before going to Guangzhou. If start in Guilin (stay for 2 nights), then take river cruise to Yangshuo (stay 1 night), can we take high speed train directly from Yangshuo to Guangzhou? Or is it better, faster to go from Yangshuo back to Guilin to take the high speed train to Guangzhou?

There is no big difference. The duration depends on the train no., normally 2-3h. But if you are already in Yangshuo, it's better to take the train there to avoid a transfer in Guilin.
