About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

72 hour visa, do I have to collect my luggage?

I have a 10 hour layover in Beijing. The site recommends collecting luggage but it should be tagged to Canada, would I still have to collect it for a 10 hour layover?

Cheryl, you should contact with the airlines and consult if your luggage will be delivered to the final destination directly. If yes, you don’t need to collect it.
