About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

London - Shanghai - London (via Abu Dhabi or other third stop)

Hi,

I need to fly to Shanghai urgently as my grandmother is not feeling well.
Now I remembered that I need a visa but I cannot get a visa due to closed office at the Chinese Visa Application Centre during CNY.

Can I use the transit visa by flying

London - Shanghai
Shanghai - Abu Dhabi (or other stopover) - London?

Lisa, if you travel like London - Shanghai (144 hours)- Abu Dhabi (or other stopover) – London, you will qualify for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. No visa will be required then.
