I book tickets with Air China from los Angeles to New Delhi . I have a layover of 16 hours in Beijing . I want to go outside the Airport and see the great wall of China. Am I eligible for 24 hours free transit and can I go outside the airport with that visa. Thanks in advance for your help.

Yogesh, yes, you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit. You can go outside the airport as long as you apply for a temporary stay permit which is free of charge at the immigration office inside the airport.
