Visit HK with a one entry chinese visa ?

I have a belgian passport and a chinese visa for one entry. I want to visit HK for a few days during my trip in China but must go back to China afterwards to catch my flight in GZ. Is it OK or i won't be granted entry for a second time in China even though i "only" went to HK ?

In principle, after the visit in Hong Kong, you need to have a visa for mainland in order to re enter. However, if you fly from HK to Guangzhou, stay there for no more than 144 hours, and then take the connecting flight to home, you can enjoy the 144-hour free transit in Guangdong Province.

Hey Jade thank you so much for your reply !
My concern is that the chinese agent in GZ will cross my visa upon my first arrival in China without considering I want to enjoy the Visa-Free policy first. Is it OK to tell him/her that I first want to enjoy the policy and show him my ticket to HK (for example for 36hours after in land in GZ) so he/she doesn't cross my "real" visa and I can enter again later ?

Relax! You can tell the immigration officer about your intention when you first enter China so that he or she will not wrongly cross your visa.
