Time between entries to China

I am a UK passport holder with a multiple entry 2 year tourist visa for China.
What are the Chinese rules around the time period between entries to the Chinese mainland on this type?

Jack, there is no rule about the time period between your two entries. You can enter and exit at anytime within its validity.
