About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Brazilian passport holder

Hi. I'm Brazilian and I'm a tourist in korea so I don't have an Alien card. Can I apply for a Chinese visa? I want to make a short trip. Is it true that I don't need a visa if my trip it's less then 72 hours? How does it work?
Thank you in advance!

Rute, if so, I’m afraid it’s not easy for you to get it from there.
If you travel like Korea-HK-Beijing/Shanghai/Guangzhou (72 hours)-Korea, you can enjoy the 72 hour free transit in Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou. In this case, no visa will be needed.

No, you won’t qualify for the free transit in Shanghai if you travel like that. The country you fly from before entering Shanghai should be different from the one you fly to.
