About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

If i'm from Indonesia and I'm on a student visa in China, if it expires,

can i still travel around (HK,Shanghai) as a tourist?

If the student X type expires, you cannot travel around Shanghai anymore unless you apply for a tourist L type instead. But you can still travel to HK.
