About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Would I qualify for a 144 hour visa?

I am eligible to apply for a 144 hour free transit on arrival in Shanghai?

My travel plans in China are as follows: Arrive 7.00 SHANGHAI Port (BAOSHAN) on cruise ship (Royal Caribbean)
Overnight accommodation in SHANGHAI (CBD) Hotel- 10/04/2017:
Depart 14.30 from Pudong (PVG) Airport to SINGAPORE.
2 days in Singapore and the fly back to Perth

Nat, as long as you doesn't enter Shanghai from Singapore, you will be eligible for the 144hrs free transit in Shanghai.

So if the cruise starts in Singapore but goes via Vietnam and Japan would that be acceptable? Thanks

If I am eligible for the 144 transit visa, I will get it on arrival in Shanghai port at customs. You will need a completed passenger card and proof of travel bookings and accomodation (hotel booking etc)
