About:Silk Road in Eastern Han Dynasty

We plan to be in Bejing mid April and hope to book hikes showing variety.

And great views with about 8-10 Km per day. Not too sure about our knees for lots of steep downhill.. advise on which hikes? Also lodging? Thank you, Chuck and Pam from Wisconsin USA

I would recommend the Mutianyu or Simatai Great Wall for you. It is not very difficult to hike these walls as the roads are relatively gentle. There are limited accommodations near Mutianyu and most of them are small guesthouses for backpackers. For Simatai, there are many hotel choices in Gubei Water Town at the foot of the mountain. You may contact this company for more details if you require a guided trip.
