About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Traveling from New York to Shanghai (5days) to Beijing (5 days) back to New York

What visa should I apply to? and/or how many entries do I need?
I'm a US Citizen

Gladys, you can apply for a tourist L type for that. If you fly to Beijing directly from Shanghai, a single-entry tourist L type is enough.
