Xinxiang to Baligou scenic area day tour?

HI! Is it possible to travel in February by public transportation from Xinxiang to Baligou scenic area leaving early morning and arriving late afternoon? What does the scenic area consists? Is there places to see/hike around the scenic area? Is it possible to get to Guoliang tunnel from there?

Andre, you can take a bus from Xinxiang Passenger Transport Terminal to Baligou directly. I heard there are four buses a day departing at 7:00, 10:00, 14:00, and 16:00.
As I know, it is a good place to enjoy the natural scenes of mountain, river, and waterfall. You should get totally relaxed.
From Baligou to Guoliang, you need to take a bus or charter a car to Huixian first, there are frequent buses to the scenic area.

Thanks for the great insight! Regarding scenic areas, which one should be better in february: Huashan or Baligou?

I wonder if you mean Huashan in Shaanxi Province. If so, Baligou seems to be your better choice, as it can be very cold in Huashan and some parts of the footpath might be slippery; it can be a little bit dangerous for climbing.

Yes, I meant Huashan. There is also the option to go to Huangshan but it would require at least one additional day. And I guess Huangshan would be also slippery and cold this time of the year... Regards
