Flying to Beijing and then on to New York

Hi there, i am flying to Beijing and am there for less than 24 hours - will it be ok to leave the visa application and use the 72 hour one at the airport?

Lucy, yes, it is possible. You will be given the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing if you travel like that. There is no need to apply for a visa then.
