About:Hong Kong Visa Application

I am travelling back to my home country in Vietnam and will be transitting in Hong Kong for 1 day.

I'm planning to go out and visit then come back for my next flight so what visa do I need to apply for
To whom may it concern

I also want to ask if it is correct that there are two ways that I can apply for Hong Kong visa? The first way is directly through the China Consulate and the second way is through mailing to Hong Kong immigration department
If I send it through mail to Hong Kong immigration department then do I send the money payment for the visa within that mail too?

Sincerely

Chuong, yes, you are right. You can apply for HK transit visa either from Chinese consulate or from HK immigration department directly.
You need to send the money payment with the application too if you apply by post. But no cash should be sent with the application.
You should send a bank draft which should be issued by a bank which has a connected bank in the HKSAR and made payable to "The Government of the HK Special Administrative Region".

If you apply for it by mail your application to HK immigration department directly, there is no express service.
But if you apply from Chinese consulate, you can try to apply express service.
