About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is 72 hours free transit for flights with stops in China only?

We traveled from Europe to China and we are now on the way to Japan and Thailand, but our return flight is from Beijing. Only as we got stamp at the airport we realized that our visa is valid for 3 month but one entry only. We should be flying from Thailand to Beijing 13th January in the evening and from Beijing to Europe in the morning on 14th. Now that we had one entry only we can't use the visa but can we claim 72 hours free transit in Beijing with flights that are not connected?

Mirka, yes, you can use the 72-hour free transit for the route Thainland - Beijing - Europe. By doing so, you can save the single-entry on your passport for next time.
