About:Beijing Subway

Does the Beijing Metro Ticket expire at the end of the day?

Or is it 24 hours at the time of purchase?
What happens if I still have credit on the ticket when it expires?

I heard the metro ticket is valid until the end of the day. Once it expires, you cannot refund the ticket.
