About:Visa Policy of China

I am an American currently working in China on a type M Visa.

I recently married a chinese woman and am wondering if I can change my visa to not have to leave the country every 60 days?

Matt, yes, you can. You can try to convert the M type to a family reunion Q type. However, you cannot work on a Q type. If you still want to work, you are advised to convert the M type to a work Z type and then you can get a residence permit which will allow you to live in China within its validity.
