Dear, you are not advised to work on a business M type because it is illegal. In addition, you cannot get a residence permit if you hold business M type.
You should insist to have a work Z type.

Thanks Haley.
I already insisted but the my new company hired a business consulting agency to process my visa and according to them (this is exactly their email) "The Shanghai Entry and Exit Administration Bureau requires that the employee change old resident permit to M type within 10 days after leaving previous company with the receipt from labor bureau. When you get new employment permit, then we could change M type to resident permit."
Now, its contradict to all my search I am so confused now.
