About:Chinese Embassy in Colombia

US Citizen would like to Invite a friend to China for visit

I am a US citizen currently in PRC/Tianjin on an M Visa. I wish to invite to have a Colombian friend of mine, to come to visit me in Tianjin for 30-60 days. What type of Visa is required and does the friend's Chinese Visa application require an invitee letter from me or my sponsor, to be included in the application process?

Because you don’t have residence permit in China, you may not be able to issue the invitation letter. Actually, your friend can apply for a tourist L type for China directly without any inviter. Your friend needs to provide passport and its copy, the application form, a passport-style photo, round trip air tickets and accommodation arrangement.
