Seeking advice concerning love match: horse and dog..

I wonder how these ones should get along, (really). These are two dynamic people with a classical east/west side of town story to tell, (she; "upper westside", he; "lower eastside"). They´re both "playful" individuals with a diversity of options, but came together through a stormy affair and he is about to do something foolish (I think), like leaving someone I actually think might be good for him just to embrace disaster..! But maybe there is something more to the attraction than meets the senses for us around them?

I am very curious about any analysis/ explaining in any direction for this one, but as they do look very much in love maybe it can make it easier for us friends to accept it, (or give any advice for that matter), if we knew a little more about the constellation. (Seemingly 90% "perfect match in here, but there is probably a lot more to it than that no?)

She is a "Metal horse" (23.10.1990), he is a "Metal dog" (25.09.1970)
